The Canary Island is getting ready to receive the flood of people eager to show off their colourful costumes and have fun in one of the most popular festivities of the Canary Islands. Dates of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival

The Carnival of Las Palmas this year will be held from 26 January to 18 February 2024. On the other hand, the Gran Cabalgata (The big Carnival parade) will take place on the 17th of February, starting at 5 pm.

Where is the Carnival of Las Palmas held?

The Carnival of Las Palmas is usually held at the Santa Catalina Park, between Las Canteras Beach and the Cruise Ship Pier. Most of the acts of the program take place here, at the nerve center, in a beautiful outdoor setting. The carnival attracts more than half a million people each year.

Gran Canaria, where fun and music lives on

The Carnival is one of the most important events on Gran Canaria, and it’s usually celebrated during the tourist high season.

But Las Palmas is not the only party epicentre. Don’t miss the Maspalomas Carnival 2023 from 9 to 19 March.
