Venezuelan Clarinetist with an extensive career as a performer, teacher, composer and director.
He is the first clarinet of the Aragua State Symphony Orchestra. Musical Director of the "Ensamble de Clarinetes de Aragua Blas Borges" and the "Baquedano Big Band Jazz de Aragua" He composes and arranges for symphonic, chamber and jazz groups. He is Professor of the Clarinet Chair of the Regional System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of the state of Aragua.
He entered the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela in 1984, in Maracay, Aragua State. He began Clarinet studies with Masters Eduardo Salazar and Edgar Pronio. Musical Language and Harmony with Masters Francisco Crespo and Juan Soublett.
In Caracas, he studied Clarinet with Masters Mark Friedman and Valdemar Rodriguez at the Conservatory of Music "Simón Bolívar", where he completed his academic studies in 2001. He continued his studies of Composition, History of Music and Musical Language at the School of Arts of the Central University of Venezuela.
He studied Saxophone with Masters Roberto Benítez and Santiago Baquedano.
He travelled to Belgium at the invitation of Maestro Eddy Vanoosthoyse to receive Master classes at the Conservatory of Music of the University of Gent, in 2001.
He received the title of Executing Professor of Clarinet at the School of Music "Federico Villena" in Maracay in 2002.
As clarinetist he has been a member of several institutions and musical groups: Maracay Youth Symphony Orchestra, 1984 - 1990; Aragua State Concert Band, 1990 - 2002; Aragua Typical Orchestra 1994 - 2009.
Founder of the Aragua State Symphony Orchestra, with which he has developed an intense activity of concerts, recitals, solo performances and international tours (Aruba, Spain, Martinique, Cuba and Colombia) since 1990 until today.
Since 1989 he promotes the creation of chamber music groups, Venezuelan popular music, Latin American and Jazz groups for which he makes compositions, arrangements and recordings: "Camerata de Aragua" Ensemble "Ajazzgo" Wind Octet "Octavo Espacio" Saxophone Quartet "5X4" Ensemble "Tacarigua", 1998 "Ensamble Cañameral" 2002.
Ensamble de Clarinetes de Aragua "Blas Borges" 2012, formed by the most outstanding students of his chair, in which he combines the classical repertoire with his arrangements of the Venezuelan repertoire together with his own compositions, influenced by jazz and the new wave.
The "Baquedano Big Band Jazz de Aragua", 2012 Academic Program of the Conservatory of Music "Simón Bolívar", with which develops an intense activity of concerts and workshops specialized in the genre of Jazz, while incorporating his arrangements and compositions with the elements of Venezuelan music and Afrolatina. He has also made musical arrangements for Concert Band and Symphony Orchestra.
He has participated in Music Festivals where he has had the opportunity to share experiences and receive master classes from eminent national and international Masters:

"Belgium Clarinet Fest" in Ostende 1997 Masters Howard Klug, Robert Spring, Guido Six and Eddy Vanoosthoyse.
"Carifesta VII" in Saint Kitts and Nevis, festival organized by the Caribbean Economic Community, with the Ensemble "Tacarigua", group designated by the Ministry of Culture to represent Venezuela, 2000.
"Kammermusikfestpiele" held in Colonia Tovar Esta Aragua (2013), and the Young Venezuelan Clarinetist Festivals, until its last edition in 2013, organized by the Latin American Academy of Clarinets and the Conservatory of Music "Simón Bolívar".
He has a trajectory of more than twenty years as Professor of Clarinet and Saxophone. He is a permanent Woodwind Workshopist and coordinator of Seminars for the Venezuelan System of Youth and Children's Orchestras:

In 2007, on the instruction of Maestro José Antonio Abreu, he began the negotiations for the creation of the Youth and Children's Orchestra of Colonia Tovar, which he founded on July 12, 2008, serving since then as Musical Director and President of his Foundation until 2012.
In the same year 2012 he obtains his certification as "National Producer".
